About our QM system

Our QM system is a cornerstone of our work and the basis and constant companion of our services. That is why we cannot imagine life without it.

In June 2015 we have successfully ended the accreditation process according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 (“General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories”) by receiving the act by the DAkkS. The successful DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 reaccreditation took place in summer 2019 and most recently in winter 2020/2021. The current certificate and annex are of course also available for download under QM documents. Details on the accreditation can be found in the corresponding article. Even in the years before accreditation, we worked according to a comprehensive internal quality management system, the structure of which always complied with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 and was therefore also based on the following “Eight Principles of Quality Policy” in accordance with ISO 9001:

1. customer orientation
2. leadership
3. involvement of people
4. process-orientated approach
5. system-orientated management approach
6. continuous improvement
7. fact-based approach to decision-making
8. supplier relationship for mutual benefit

Our quality management system is supported by a comprehensive system of internal and external laboratory measures, such as:

• interlaboratory tests
• control charts (see below)
• Regular audits
• PDCA cycle (control loop)
