As an analytical service laboratory that examines main and trace elements for the industry we are often under pressure: The analyses should be performed faster, the costs per sample should be as low as possible.
For this reason, we have decided to invest in new ICP-OES devices from Thermo Scientific™. This new generation of devices makes it easier for us to obtain consistently accurate and reliable results – and even in a shorter time. Thus, we can process more samples in less time. Furthermore, the new ICPs also handle difficult or differently composed samples even better – no matter what type of sample is to be examined in the laboratory.
The last few weeks, the new Thermo Scientific™ iCAP™ ICPs have been successfully put into operation in our laboratory. The devices were professionally installed and set up by Thermo Fisher Scientific employees, ensuring a smooth start.
Following this, several comprehensive training sessions were held for our IGR employees – directly on the new system. Not only operation, but also and important maintenance and application aspects were covered. This way, our team is well-prepared to use the new spectrometers efficiently and safely in everyday laboratory work.
